Workplace EV Charging Upgrade – Improved Reliability and Future-Ready Capacity

Three new Rolec dual-socket charging pedestals deliver reliable workplace EV charging, intelligent management and capacity for future fleet expansion.

PROJECT SUMMARY

A UK commercial site was experiencing reliability and performance issues with its existing workplace EV charging infrastructure.

With employees increasingly dependent on electric vehicles, the business required a dependable charging solution that could accommodate daily demand while providing greater operational control.

QPES was commissioned to replace the existing equipment with three Rolec BasicCharge dual-socket charging pedestals, integrated with the Monta chargepoint management platform.

The upgrade provides six charging outlets, improved connectivity and a scalable infrastructure designed to support future EV adoption.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

QPES delivered a complete replacement of the existing workplace EV charging infrastructure, removing unreliable equipment and installing three Rolec BasicCharge dual-socket pedestals.

Each pedestal provides two 7.4kW charging outlets, allowing up to six vehicles to charge simultaneously.

The installation included integration with the Monta management platform, providing the business with centralised control over charging access, energy usage, tariffs and reporting.

All chargers were installed, commissioned, tested and activated with minimal disruption to normal workplace operations.
